His recent 2nd place finish in the G3 Iroquois he chased a rabbit named Patriot Spirit through some swift fractions only to be outkicked down the stretch by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.equibase.com\/profiles\/Results.cfm?type=Horse&amp;refno=10969295&amp;registry=T&amp;rbt=TB\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"West Saratoga\">West Saratoga<\/a>. In his previous maiden win he went wire to wire in his first race. He was in hand, set down &amp; drove off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Help support BillyHoSports&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.buymeacoffee.com\/billyhosports\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>He faces his toughest test to date here, but this son of Gun Runner has it in him. His trainer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.equibase.com\/profiles\/Results.cfm?type=People&amp;searchType=T&amp;eID=5621&amp;rbt=TB\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Steve Assmussen\">Steve Assmussen<\/a> is really good w\/ the youngsters, but not as good as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.equibase.com\/profiles\/Results.cfm?type=People&amp;searchType=T&amp;eID=241578&amp;rbt=TB\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Brad Cox\">Brad Cox<\/a> who trains <a href=\"https:\/\/www.equibase.com\/profiles\/Results.cfm?type=Horse&amp;refno=10943358&amp;registry=T\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Awesome Road\">Awesome Road<\/a>. When it comes to the 2 yr old&#8217;s, I lean more heavy on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.equibase.com\/stats\/View.cfm?tf=year&amp;tb=trainer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"trainers\">trainers<\/a> to have these horses prepared to race. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cox\u2019s 27% winning rate is second to none. It was too ambitious to run him in the G1 Futurity at Keeneland just after his maiden win in his 1st race. He did not respond &amp; ran poorly.
